Curry Mallet Manor

The Manor house, (also called Mallet Court) is a Grade II* listed building dating from the 15th century and late 16th century. It stands on the site of, and incorporates parts of, the castle built by William Malet, a Norman knight, who fought at the Battle of Hastings. It is a private dwelling and not open to the public.

Coxe states that there is a selection of audible phenomena reported in various parts of the house, ranging from "clashing swords", rustling silk and footsteps. There are reports of ghosts in the garden, however these are not specified.
